Interactive Workshop--We Are Colourful Friends
Details
Josephine Vaccaro-Chang has delivered interactive workshops to over 5,500 primary aged students based on books she has written and illustrated. The workshop includes:
- an author reading
- the children re-telling the story using hand-held puppets
- the children reading and acting out the story
- a visit from one of the characters from the book. For
example, Ruby is a six foot tall sculpture of a flamingo with a tiara, a necklace and fancy high-heeled shoes
- a question and answer period
- a follow-up activity. Using colouring sheets the children create a book for their class
